Opera Carolina presents “The Daughter of the Regiment”
November 15 and 18 | Belk Theater
At the opera, everyone will love following along with heroine Marie as she chooses between love and the social status she was born into in The Daughter of the Regiment, composed by Gaetano Donizetti. Performances are November 15 and 18.
Charles Craig plays Erroll Garner
November 16 – 17 | Stage Door Theater
Charles Craig Sr. and his trio will pay homage to one of his greatest influences, jazz pianist Erroll Garner, with interpretations of Garner’s compositions. Performances are at 6 and 8:15 p.m. on Friday, and 7 and 9:15 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $14 in advance and $16 at the door.
Eat a FREE Sub and Support the Isabella Santos Foundation

Tacos 4 Life Hosts Its First Charlotte MobilePack
Through November 18 | Charlotte Motor Speedway
In the first ever “MobilePack” in the state, locals can sign up to volunteer to help Tacos 4 Life pack 186,624 meal food packs to be shipped worldwide to feed the hungry via Feed My Starving Children. Packing will be done at the Charlotte Motor Speedway between November 16 – 18, and you can sign up HERE for a two hour session to pack, set up, clean up, or help in any way. All ages welcome, more information at the link. Tacos 4 Life donates a meal for every meal sold, and has packed and donated over 5,271,900 meals for starving children around the world. Sign up for this weekend, and be part of this massive effort to Do Good.

Experience ‘Lumisonica’
Mint Museum UPTOWN | 6 – 9 p.m.
See the Grand Staircase of the Mint illuminate with light and sound at the debut of the museum’s new installation, Lumisonica. International artist Vensa Petresin and Creative Design Lead Ben Mason will also be on site to celebrate. Cash bar available.
Laugh at Lenny Boy
Lenny Boy Brewing Co. | 8 – 10 p.m.
Lenny Boy Brewing will transform into a comedy club for one night only to host five North Carolina comedians. $10 admission.
Science on the Rocks: Down the Rabbit Hole
Discovery Place Science | 5 – 9 p.m.
Take a step into Alice’s fantasy world at this month’s Science on the Rocks. Attendees will meet the animals who call wonderland home, be fooled by mirrors, explore magic, discover flavor tripping and more. $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
Charlotte Moonshine Festival – 6th Annual
Rooftop 210 | 7 – 11 p.m.
The sixth annual Moonshine Festival features various flavors to sample and live music. VIP ticket holders also get access to a mixology class. $15 general admission, $30 VIP admission.
10th Annual Piedmont Town Center Tree Lighting Celebration
Piedmont Town Center | 6 – 9 p.m.
The 10th annual Piedmont Town Center Tree Lighting Celebration will include loads of holiday fun – from kids activities to hot chocolate, train rides for kids and visits with Santa – before and after the lighting of the tree. Bring an unwrapped toy to support Toys for Tots Charlotte.
The Beatles 50th Anniversary of The White Album

25th Beaujolais Festival 2018
