Carolina Renaissance Festival, Huntersville | November 17 – 18

Don’t miss your last chance to enjoy all the fun the Carolina Renaissance Festival has to offer. Bring canned food to donate and save $15 on a child admission ages 5 – 12. Donations benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.

Tacos 4 Life Hosts Its First Charlotte MobilePack
Through November 18 | Charlotte Motor Speedway

In the first ever “MobilePack” in the state, locals can sign up to volunteer to help Tacos 4 Life pack 186,624 meal food packs to be shipped worldwide to feed the hungry via Feed My Starving Children. Packing will be done at the Charlotte Motor Speedway between November 16 – 18, and you can sign up HERE for a two hour session to pack, set up, clean up, or help in any way. All ages welcome, more information at the link. Tacos 4 Life donates a meal for every meal sold, and has packed and donated over  5,271,900 meals for starving children around the world. Sign up for this weekend, and be part of this massive effort to Do Good.

At Bin 110 in Cornelius, John Sullivan & Friends will take the stage at 8:30 p.m.

SATURDAY

Up The Creek Art Show
114 S Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville | Noon – 5 p.m.

Huntersville’s Crafty Beer Guys will host a showcase of local artists and vendors, and will also have a food truck on site.

Santa Paws in the Park
Robbins Park, Cornelius | 12 – 2 p.m.

Bring your pup to meet (and pose with) Santa, shop pet gifts and participate in a guided 1-mile nature hike on the trails.

Pure Barre Pop Up
BoatYard Eats, Cornelius | 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Pure Barre Lake Norman will offer a 50-minute class followed by an all-you-can-drink mimosa bar. Admission is a $20 donation to Mooresville Soup Kitchen. Bring your own yoga mat. Sign up in studio.

Author Holly Pasut: Book Signing
Main Street Books, Davidson | 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Author Holly Pasut talks about her journey from single mother to real estate agent to inmate in a federal prison in her book, A Strange Path to Freedom. Meet Holly and get a signed copy of the book.

Birkdale Village Santa Arrival & Tree Lighting

Santa’s making his way to Birkdale Village this weekend for the annual tree lighting and celebration benefitting Ace & TJ’s Grin Kids. Enjoy music, vendors, a parade, photos with Santa and the lighting of the tree.

Grievous Angels LIVE

Grievous Angels will take the stage at OTPH to provide the perfect beer-drinking atmosphere.

Annual Christmas Tree Lighting
LangTree Lake Norman, Mooresville | 5 – 8 p.m.

The whole family can get into the holiday spirit with LangTree’s annual tree lighting. The evening also features horse-drawn carriage rides, face painting, Photo Booth, music, food, giveaways and a visit with Santa. Free admission.

First Annual Irish Fest
King Canary Brewing Company, Mooresville | 1 p.m.

Friendsgiving
On Tap, Mooresville | 5 – 9 p.m.

At OnTap’s inaugural Friendsgiving, guests can bring their favorite side dishes and desserts while they provide the turkey. They’ll also be collecting canned food for donations to local food pantries.
