Victorian Christmas
November 23 – 24 | Historic Latta Plantation, Huntersville
Step back in time to the 1860s, where you’ll celebrate the holidays with open hearth cooking, an artisan marketplace, Victorian carolers, bonfires and s’mores stations, crafts, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, food trucks and tastings of whiskey and mulled wine. $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and students. Under 5 and members admitted free.
FRIDAY
Black Friday Survival
Primal Brewery, Huntersville | 8 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Whether you’re looking for somewhere to unwind after early-morning shopping, a way to bust out of your post-turkey coma or something to do with out-of-town guests, Primal Brewery’s third annual Black Friday event has you covered. They’re opening early at 8 a.m. for a full day of music, food and beer.

Instead of spending the day inside, opt to explore the outdoors with this family-friendly event where you’ll learn the ins and outs of fire building and activities including s’mores. Free admission.
Bourbon County Black Friday & Gift Cert Special
Cork and Cask, Cornelius | 7 – 10 p.m.
For the beer-lovers, Cork and Cask’s version of Black Friday involves the release of their Original Bourbon County Brand Stout, which has been aged for more than four years in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels and a Bourbon Country Brand Vanilla Stout.
