Raclette Night
Orrman’s Cheese Shop | 4 – 8 p.m.
Each week, Orrman’s features a new Raclette cheese, melted to perfection and scraped over roasted potatoes or charcuterie with cornichons and mustard. Plates are $10 each or $13 with charcuterie.
FRIDAY
Jazz at the BechtlerÂ
Bechtler Museum of Modern Art | 6 and 8:15 p.m.
Lean into those post-holiday blues with a performance by the Ziad Jazz Quartet, featuring selections by Herbie Hancock, Lee Morgan and Jimmy McGriff. Concerts are at 6 and 8:15 p.m. and tickets are $16 for the public and $10 for museum members.
South End Gallery CrawlÂ
Participating South End Galleries | 5 – 9 p.m.
Explore all that the South End art galleries have to offer during this monthly neighborhood-wide event where galleries stay open late, celebrate new exhibitions, host lively receptions and give visitors changes to meet the artists.
The Artist Activist Project
The Knight Gallery, Spirit Square Center for the Arts | 8 p.m.
This cabaret-style charity concert celebrates artist activism and arts education through music performed by young theatre artists from the Charlotte area.
SATURDAY
ART CRUSH + ConstellationCLT Party!
Mint Museum Uptown | 7 p.m.
Help the Mint Museum celebrate the second year of their podcast, ART CRUSH and the closing of ConstellationCLT: Arko + Owl with light bites and beverages and a live interview with current artists on exhibit at Mint Museum Uptown. Members attend for free while non-members can purchase tickets for $10.
Twelfth Night
Charlotte Museum of History | 6 p.m.
Cap off your holiday season with a visit to the historic Hezekiah Alexander House for a free traditional Twelfth Night celebration. Stop by the Captain Jack’s Tavern for a cup of hard or non-alcoholic cider from Red Clay Ciderworks and a slice of Twelfth Night cake. Stay warm by the bonfire, listen to traditional music or even try dancing a reel.

8k & 5k Race+Fest Strip It To Give It

Did you know that on a given night more than 1,500 people can be found homeless on Charlotte’s streets? The Strip it to Give It charity race helps clothe our homeless neighbors and support local organizations by challenging participants to take off an item of clothing to be donated at every mile-marker. 8K, 5K and fun mile routes available.
Face 2 Face – Tribute To Billy Joel & Elton John
