Pantone names its 2019 Color of the Year as LIVING CORAL, calling it “An animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge.” There’s more about their pick here, and aside from whether you understand their reasoning ~ not sure we do ~ the color is beautiful.
It usually takes stores a little while to decide whether a color is going to catch on, but if history repeats itself this coral will be hot (anyone remember 2012’s Tangerine Tango?). Butter London joined right in with some Living Coral colors that have us dreaming of sunny days in sandals:
