Symphony 101: Ravel Unraveled

In the next Symphony 101 discussion, Davidson College Symphony Orchestra Music Director Tara Keith will guide attendees through an exploration of work by French composer Maurice Ravel. Free to attend.
Beach Bash 2019

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas invite attendees to enjoy an evening of music, fundraising, food, raffle giveaways, a live auction and more, all in support of the organization’s mission. re-sale tickets are $30. Admission is $35 at the door.

Beaver Dam Food Truck Jam

The first Beaver Dam Food Truck Jam of the season will feature an open mic night, beverages from Eleven Lakes Brewery and food offerings from The Baltimore Crab Cake Company, Smoke And Go BBQ and more.
Historic Mooresville Food Tour

Kentucky Derby Party

Cheer on your favorite horses in your finest hats and seersucker at Bin 110. They’ll show the race and then invite Thirsty Horses Band to play from 8:45 – 11:45 p.m.

Yoga By The Lake

18th Annual An Evening For Dove House

The 18th annual Evening for Dove House includes tastes from local restaurants, live entertainment, a keynote program presented by Dove House, silent auction and live auction emceed by Larry Sprinkle of WCNC TV. They’ll also have the Kentucky Derby on so you won’t miss any of the action.

The 12th annual Spartan Half Marathon, 10K & 5K is a road race to benefit the school’s Athletic Boosters Club. All proceeds benefit the student athletes at the Community School of Davidson.

Davidson’s Concerts on the Green series continues with 80s variety music from the band Kids In America.
BASH Color Dash 5K 2019
Ghostface Brewing, Mooresville | 4 – 6 p.m.
At the 8th annual Bash Color Dash, you won’t only get a prize for fastest time, you also could be the recipient of the “most covered in color” award. Along the route, you’ll be sprayed with non-toxic washable paint. Stick around for a post-run block party at Ghostface Brewing with music, food and drinks. All proceeds support the Back 2 School Bash 2019, a community-wide event providing free shoes, backpacks and school supplies for area students.
