Are you already looking for an easy break from the city this summer? Want to get outside and unwind in a beautiful setting with your family and friends? Beginning June 6, every Thursday, all summer long, you can enjoy a family & dog friendly evening and concert at Anne Springs Close Greenway.
Located in Fort Mill, about 7 miles from Ballantyne, Anne Springs Close Greenway is a 2,100 acre nature preserve that offers abundant outdoor activities, from hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding, to picnics, kayaking and more.
This summer, every Thursday Anne Springs Close will bring a different band and style of music to the Greenway with a concert that begins at 6:30. There will be food trucks on site and canned beer, wine, sodas, and water available for purchase. You can check out the various bands and food trucks here. You can pack a picnic (no outside alcohol or tents allowed) and bring the kids and the dogs (on a 6 foot leash).
This is one of those great Charlotte area attractions that offers something for everyone. You can pick your evening visits based on the kind of music you most enjoy ~ the list of bands by date is here.
You can head over in the afternoon and enjoy some hiking, horseback riding or time on the water before you head over to enjoy the concert. Or you can start the evening off with a yoga session, as every Thursday yoga is offered before the concert at 6:15 pm.
Go Early and Go Often, and try something different every time. Happy Summer!
