This year, you don’t have to limit your patriotic celebrations to just one day. Including July 4, here’s where to view fireworks all week long:
TUESDAY, JULY 2
Rev! White! Boom! at Bojangles’ Summer Shootout

Where: Charlotte Motor Speedway
When: Gates open at 5 p.m. for the shootout, with autograph session and fireworks following.
The scoop: The Bojangles’ Summer Shootout Series race on July 2 features a special treat: an autograph session and fireworks display. Adult tickets are $8, children 13 and under are free.
Kannapolis Intimidators vs. Rome Braves (July 2 and 3)
Where: 2888 Moose Rd., Kannapolis
When: Games start at 7 p.m., with fireworks following.
The scoop: After the Intimidators take on the Braves, stick around for a post-game fireworks show.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 3

The scoop: Join the Charlotte Symphony in a salute to America with an evening of patriotic tunes and a fireworks finale.
Lowe’s YMCA July 3rd Summer Celebration
Where: Lowe’s YMCA, Mooresville
When: 6 – 10 p.m., with fireworks starting around 9 p.m.
The scoop: The Lowe’s YMCA July 3rd Summer Celebration features entertainment, food, kid-friendly activities, and of course, spectacular fireworks. Bring a blanket and chairs and arrive early.
Where: Old Town Rock Hill
When: The fun starts at 5:30 p.m., with fireworks around 9:45 p.m.
The scoop: Celebrate Independence Day in Old Town with live music, food, drinks, fireworks and plenty of fun for the whole family.

USNWC’s Fourth of July Celebration
Where: U.S. National Whitewater Center
When: Fireworks start each night around 9:30 p.m.
The scoop: This two-day celebration, back for its ninth year, features live music by Rayland Baxter and North Mississippi Allstars, various yoga practices, Battle Royale SUP Sprint and two nights of fireworks.
USA Baseball to host Cuban National Team
Where: BB&T Ballpark
When: Gametime is 7:05 p.m. with fireworks following
The scoop: BB&T Ballpark will host a matchup between USA Baseball and the Cuban National Team as part of the the 8th Annual USA vs. Cuba International Friendship Series. After the game, enjoy a fireworks show.
Fireworks Celebration, Statesville

Harrisburg 4th of July Celebration (July 3 and 4)

THURSDAY, JULY 4

When: Following the 6:05 p.m. game against the Norfolk Tides.
The scoop: Tickets for the game are sold out, but fireworks can also be viewed from Romare Bearden Park. Come early to enjoy street festival fun, from carnival rides to live music.
Where: Merchant and Trade
When: 4:30 p.m. – 12 a.m.
The Scoop: Celebrate the 4th of July at Merchant & Trade with friends and fireworks. There will be a patriotic-themed menu, live music, late night DJs and fireworks viewing. $5-10 donation at the door.Ticket proceeds benefit American Heroes Foundation supported by Heaven Hill.

The scoop: Downtown Gastonia’s 4th of July celebration features food trucks, live music, a beer garden, kids zone and fireworks.
Tega Cay 4th of July Celebration
Where: Tega Cay, SC
When: 9:30 p.m.
The scoop: All-day festivities culminate in a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. Additional activities include a fish fry, kids activities and more.
Red, White, & Belmont Festival
Where: Stowe Park. 24 S. Main St., Belmont
When: 4 – 10 p.m.
The scoop: Expect an afternoon of family fun, from rides to face painting, pup and bike parades, live music from Java Band and more. The celebration is topped off with a fireworks display.
