Nice to Do Now:
The Front Porch Project

A local photog clued us in to a fun SHELTER IN PLACE effort that’s popping up around the country. Local photographers are participating in the Front Porch Project, where, in the spirit of social distancing, they will offer a short family session on your front porch or lawn for free or donation to a suggested charity.

Claire Rodahaver is a Charlotte photographer who shared her recent Front Porch session with us.

Yesterday within 30 minutes of my posting about the Front Porch Project,  Lindsey of Easterling Family Law called me. She wanted to take it to the next level and sponsor two full front porch family sessions for two lucky families. This project is to bring some joy to your family in this time of uncertainty in a stress-free way. I hopped over to Lindsey’s house and did a quick session with her and her fam too. They used it as a way to bring some comedic relief in this completely crazy time.

Women like Lindsey are the glue to our female business owner community here in Charlotte. Lifting each other up and collaboration will help us last far beyond this health crisis.

Claire’s view is that now more than over female business owners need to support one another.

In this time of uncertainty collaborating is essential. So many of us have just begun pursuing our dream of entrepreneurship and if we come together we can make it through. We will make it through. We must.
