JULY 4 & FIREWORKS
Fourth on the Field: Brunch & Play Catch
Truist Field | 10 am
Head to the ballpark to enjoy brunch favorites before or after you take the field yourself to play catch. Adults are $25, kids 12 and under are $15.
Red, White & BOOM – Virtual
June 26 – July 4
Rock Hill’s celebrations will go virtual this year, and last all week long. Stay tuned to their website for links to events like DIY faceprinting, an ice cream eating contest, plenty of kid-friendly activities, a National Anthem contest and more.
Tega Cay Land Parade and Fireworks
Parade at 9 am | Fireworks at 9:30 pm
In Tega Cay, they’ll have festivities from morning until night. The day kicks off with a land parade featuring golf carts, floats and vehicles, with a fireworks show starting at 9:30 am. Find more information and viewing tips here.
Belmont Downtown Al Fresco Dining and Fireworks
Downtown Belmont | 5-10 pm
Enjoy al fresco dining in downtown Belmont starting at 5 pm, followed by a fireworks show at 9:30 pm.
Baxter Village-Fort Mill Parade
Baxter Village | 9:30 am
UPDATE: The parade is now closed to the Public and only Baxter Residents & Baxter Businesses can participate in the Parade.
The Baxter Village-Fort Mill parade will feature more than 100 community and performance groups, from fire department and military honor guards to pro sports mascots and bands.
City of Gastonia’s Fourth of July Fireworks

“The Goonies” Drive-in Movie with Fireworks
July 1 | Charlotte Motor Speedway
Charlotte Motor Speedway, in partnership with Speedway Children’s Charities, will screen “The Goonies” at this drive-in event supporting the Charlotte chapter of the charity. After the movie, stick around for fireworks.
Sunset Sessions at the Greenway
July 3 | Anne Springs Close Greenway | 6-9 pm
The Sunset Sessions music series continues this week at the Anne Springs Close Greenway. The Canteen restaurant will be serving their full menu for outdoor dining, and is a great option for social distancing outdoors. The Sunset Sessions series is open for members only at this time.
Drive-In Movie at The Mill

Consider submitting your film into the Made in Carolina Film Project
The Carolina Film Community is seeking new, original short films for their annual film contest “Made in Carolinas.” The top 15 films will move into the final round of the contest and will be viewed at a Red Carpet Screening in September. Films must be short between May 12 and August 4, 2020.
