Protagonist in Lower South End – Opening Nov. 18
Make plans to celebrate the opening weekend of Protagonist Brewing in South End, where you can enjoy beer, cocktails, seltzer and a full pizza menu in their expansive three-story spot. Find them at 227 Southside Dr.
Plant Joy at Camp North End – Opening Nov. 20
From food delivery service Nourish Charlotte’s founder/executive chef Julia Simon and partner Erik Berns comes Plant Joy, a brick-and-mortar concept opening Nov. 20 to Camp North End. The food stall, Camp North End’s fourth and final, will focus on local, organic, vegetarian and vegan dishes. Menu headliners include the Socca (chickpea crepe), Rainbow Toast (featuring loaves from Verdant Bread), locally made vegan croissants and the Falafel Stack (all the best parts of a falafel sandwich, presented nacho-style). The menu will also feature select locally sourced pastries and a Community Plate, where customers can donate funds toward a future meal for someone in need.
