Studio Safety Stepped Up in a Big Way
With the pandemic in mind, OTF has made some critical changes to their studios so that you can work out in a safe environment.
“We have shifted our business model to meet people where they want to be,” says Orangetheory’s CEO, Dave Long. “Whether at home, outdoors, or in the studio, we are ready to deliver the workout our members know and love in the safest way possible.”
Over the past months, Orangetheory has invested countless hours and resources to ensure that their studios are the safest place outside of your very own home. The new location at Park Road Shopping Center will feature continuously operating enhanced air purification and disinfecting technology. OTF CLT is using Ultra-Violet-C enhanced Big Ass Fans to keep their facility air purity cleaner than a hospital operating room. The fans have ‘up-light Ultra-Violet LEDs’ that destroy viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens that greatly reduce the risk of person-to-person infection, so you can feel better about your workout knowing they’re taking extra precautions.

“This is revolutionary technology,” says Rebecca Thomas – owner of the Park Road location. She adds that “the standard for a hospital operating room is 20 air changes per hour. Adding this enhanced air purification technology raises the effective air changes per hour of the studio space to over 40 changes per hour. This is a game-changer.”
