New Charlotte Restaurants Now Open
Trolley Barn Fermentory is a two story brewery and food hall now open in South End. From the folks at Legion Brewing on the rail trail, with views of uptown, indoor/outdoor seating. Opened Tuesday, August 3rd.
Geno D’s Pizza opened recently in the 250-square-foot former Pure Pizza 7th Street Public Market location from a father-daughter team aiming to bring true jersey style pizza to the Uptown QC.
La Caseta’s Latin American food now open on Montford at 1730 Abbey Place, 4 from the folks of @saborlatingrill + @threeamigosclt. Monday – Saturday 11am-3p
Sunday Closed. Cooking Traditional Latin Cuisine Passed Down from Generation to Generation
If you’ve been reading our eats posts, you’ve been waiting for this new higher end chain spot to open in Phillips Place, and 800 Degrees Woodfired Kitchen is now serving SouthPark fans.
Carryout / ghost kitchen Cravn Caribbean from owner and chef Carlos Abrahams serving up the Jamaican food that he enjoyed as a child. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Abrahams credits watching his mom, Jean, cook as his inspiration. Thur/Fri 12:30-7:30 and Sat 12-6 at 2200 Thrift Rd 28208.

- Bocado Bar & Diner in South End opened end of June
New Charlotte Restaurants Opening Soon
MIZU – SouthPark in the Hyatt Centric Hotel.
Opens August 12, the new Japanese restaurant from Indigo Road group and steered by the O-KU chef is now taking reservations.
La Capital MX – South End 1910 South Boulevard opening late August TBD
Three new spots Uptown in the soon to open new JW Marriott on August 17.
Bitty and Beaus, a coffee shop run by people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is set to open soon in the South End Design Center, by Hawkers & Jenis. The original opened in Wilmington in 2016 by the proud parents of four children – the two youngest, Bitty & Beau, having Down syndrome. As advocates for the value, inclusion and acceptance of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, the Wrights have dedicated their lives to making the world a better place for their children and others living with disabilities.
Build Your Own Poke Bowls at ISLAND FIN POKE expected to open in mid-August in Berewick Town Center in South Charlotte. Billed as “Hawaiian style poke bowls and Dole Whip in a cool casual environment” on their IG 🙂
