Hey Let’s Go All Over the World, Rock and Roll Girls. John Fogerty Comes to Myers Park.

The heyday may have been the 70’s and the 80’s, but John Fogerty and Credence Clearwater Revival (CCR) songs still get us all standing and singing ~ favorite tunes like “Proud Mary”, “Bad Moon Rising”, “Fortunate Son”, “Down on the Corner”, “Who’ll Stop the Rain”, “Centerfield”, “Have You Ever Seen The Rain” and “The Old Man Down the Road.”

John Fogerty will be in Charlotte as part of the Music With Friends entertainment club, to perform at the Sandra Levine Theater at Queens University on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. Certainly one of America’s most American singer songwriters, Fogerty’s music mixes blues, country, pop, rockabilly, R&B, and, of course, Rock N Roll.

While you can’t just buy tickets to the performance, you can join the club and see the show, by signing up for an annual membership to Music With Friends.

What is Music With Friends?

Music With Friends (MWF) is an organization that brings legendary artists to perform their biggest hits in intimate venues. This is far more than a concert; it’s a one-of-a-kind music experience. A private music club that holds concerts 3 times a year featuring musicians from the happiest times in the collective memory of an upscale “over 40” crowd.  Artists such as Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Earth Wind and Fire, Sheryl Crow, Jackson Browne, Joe Walsh, Chicago, Glenn Frey, Steve Winwood, The Doobie Brothers, Loggins & Messina, Steely Dan, Allison Kraus, ZZ Top …the list goes on and on. It’s a list filled with performers and groups that literally bring music to the soul of any fan of classic rock, soul & pop.

Every MWF concert is a fab evening, which starts off with cocktails and a huge spread of heavy hors d’oeuvres, followed by the performance and an after party ~ and sometimes even a meet & greet with the star(s).

As a member of Music With Friends, you are invited to 3 annual performances like this one, along with several other members-only get togethers at some of the QC’s top locales. The cost of the membership includes a one time only seat/initiation fee (PSL) of $600 per seat. The membership dues are $1800 plus tax per person. This total includes the 3 concerts with pre and post cocktail parties and complimentary parking plus members-only social gatherings.

You can read more about a Music With Friends membership and its privileges here. Or contact Tonda Rifkin, MWF Corporate Director of Development and Membership at Tonda@Musicwithfriends.com or 704-607-3937 for more information.

This year, Music With Friends three shows will take place on April 12, September 20, and November 28. Details on the fall performers are not yet released, but you can expect two more great shows, that’s for sure.
