BEDSIDE MANOR is renovating and will be closed for one day on April 17 for a Spring Refresh & Renovation, where they’ll rearrange and reorganize for a new & improved shopping experience. A new design consultation space will centralize all of the samples for custom bedding. They’ll also have a new display wall where you can feel the sheeting products before purchase. And an all new Down display to showcase down pillows and comforters, allowing you to test out the various options and select the best for your sleep style.

Winnie’s Boutique is opening soon in a brick & mortar store in Plaza Midwood at 1222 Central Ave. Prior to this, the women’s wear shop was only open online and in the Charlotte Collective / at CLTFind. Winnie’s is planning to Open this month, Grand opening date to be announced soon. (not to be confused with the Selwyn Ave. Winnie’s Bridal store).

Girl Supply is closing in Birkdale Village at the end of next month. Owner Sarah Baucom explains, “Our last day will be May 28, 2023 and we are so excited to end it with a party (details coming soon). Girl Tribe will open a temporary store in BV right after while looking to secure a final permanent lease in the upcoming months :)”

ICYMI Moxie Mercantile opened a store in Fort Mill SC in early March. Housed on historic main street in a building constructed in the early 1900s, Moxie operates alongside a community of small businesses, including Hobo’s, Improper Pig and Amor Artis Brewing, continuing the community-driven vibe of all Moxie locations. The first SC storefront will focus on home and lifestyle products with an eclectic, vintage flair that aligns with the rich history of the building’s architecture.

Sleepy Poet Antique Mall will celebrate its 25th anniversary this month with a big storewide sale. Home to more than one hundred vendors, countless antiques, collectibles, and vintage items, and located at 6424 South Boulevard, Sleepy Poet is a local treasure trove of treasure.

To celebrate the anniversary Sleepy Poet will be hosting a store-wide sale the weekend of April 21st to 23rd. Every vendor in Sleepy Poet will be offering discounts from 10% to 50% all weekend long. Customers can also enjoy their newly opened coffee shop, The Poet’s Brew, which will be serving coffee, tea, and more while they shop.

POP UPS & MARKETS & TRUNK SHOWS

Found Collection is hosting their spring trunk show on Tuesday April 4 and Wednesday April 5 at a home in Foxcroft.

GIRL TRIBE is hosting their huge spring pop up at the Charlotte Convention Center on Saturday April 8th, featuring 100+ women-led businesses. This year’s rendition will include all the magic from a ticketed aura-reading experience, hand-made candles, permanent jewelry, and so much more! The energy will be high with help from a live DJ and swag bags for VIP shoppers.

Ballantyne’s Markets at 11 will be Saturday, April 8 – 11:00a.m. – 4:00p.m. at Ballantyne’s Backyard 11611 North Community House Road. Shop local, bring a picnic blanket and enjoy live music.

Nebel’s Alley is back with their Night Markets at The Design Center in South End – the first of the season is Saturday, April 8th. (These happen the second Saturday of every month from April – November from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.)

CAMDEN COMMONS STREET FEST is happening in South End this month, on Sunday, April 16th 11 am to 5 pm. South End’s main street, Camden Road, will transform into an outdoor living room this Spring 2023.
