1776 at Blumenthal Performing Arts

A revolutionary new version of the Revolutionary War musical 1776 from Director Diane Paulus is coming to the Belk Theater from June 6 through June 11. Instead of telling the story of the founding fathers with a cast of mostly white men, Paulus and co-director Jeffrey L. Page’s 1776 is a more representative modern ensemble made up entirely of multi-racial actors who are female, nonbinary, and trans. Tickets can be purchased here.

Stella’s 100th Anniversary Mobile Bistro Pop-Up in Uptown

Stella is celebrating its 100-year anniversary with “Stella’s 100th Anniversary
Mobile Bistro Pop-Up,” a national food tour that is making a stop in Uptown Charlotte. Free to the community, the tour’s Charlotte stop will provide food samples incorporating some of Stella’s most iconic cheeses, alongside giveaways and a charitable partnership with Harvest Hope Food Bank.
