We Shop for Hostess Gifts and Summer Entertaining

Whether you’re heading to a backyard BBQ, a mountain house stay, or a beach weekend, it’s really nice to show your appreciation by bringing a fitting hostess gift to give thanks for the hospitality and friendship. Even if your host(s) say ‘don’t bring anything’ a small token of appreciation is good form. Just don’t bring food or beverage to share at the event if they’ve said bring nothing – and never bring a bottle of wine and ask your hosts to open it to share with you that evening. It’s also considerate to put your name on the gift if it’s a larger gathering, as some hostesses still like to write a thank you note. Imagine that!
