Much-in-demand model, mom, and wife, Brooke Hall’s work literally depends on her looks. So, we wanted to get the Scoop on what keeps her feeling great, her never-fail pre-runway treatments, and a few of the things still on her wish list.
Meet Brooke
Brooke says “I grew up in Charlotte and started modeling at 14-years old. I always loved the camera and my mom decided to send me to a ‘modeling camp’ and in the end, I somehow got signed – braces and all!
I learned ‘how to model’ – how to walk down the runway, how to wear the clothes, how to show products, etc. I had signed with agencies all over the world by 16 and have been working ever since, minus the four years I took off to go to college.”
Now aged 43 years, it wasn’t until her 30s that Brooke started to take care of her skin saying “Sadly I didn’t start wearing sunscreen or eye cream until my late 30’s. I loved the sun and would roll my eyes when everyone told me to use sunscreen everyday… oh, how I wish I had listened!” says Brooke.
“My skin is VERY important for my job. Makeup artists can cover blemishes and now there are so many ways to retouch but back in the day, there was none of that! How you looked was how it came across on camera.”

Game-face Strategy
Enter Charlotte Skin & Laser (CS&L).
“I definitely want to look my age, but with a little help,” says Brooke “I really want my skin to be well hydrated but also look as though I haven’t had needle after needle – unfortunately, lots of girls these days take things a little too far,” says Brooke.
Brooke sees Dr. Elizabeth Rostan and her CS&L team and has built up trust over the years.
Brooke continues: “I have been seeing Dr. Rostan for dermatology for as long as I can remember. When I was considering Botox, she was the only place I would go and I have never tried anyone else! I started getting a little filler around my smile lines a few years ago and would only trust Dr. Rostan.”
“I have honestly never let anyone touch my face but Dr. Rostan and her team”

One area of concern for Brooke was the ‘smoker’s lines’ around her mouth. “What I love about Dr. Rostan is that she takes a conservative route. We decided to try Tixel laser treatment and I have also done Fraxel laser to help with the fine lines and wrinkles,” says Brooke.
Brooke also knows that treatments she is investing in now will continue to show results years down the line saying “I am always willing to try something new with CS&L because I trust what these women say!”
Tixel® is a unique skin resurfacing device that restores smoother, tighter skin. The results of Tixel® are often compared to those of a fractional CO2 laser, but with less downtime and safer for ALL parts of the face.
Brooke’s go-to treatments – on ‘show-day’ and every day.
#1. Botox. I think everyone should be getting it! It is so easy and the results are fantastic on everyone. It helps so much with lines in the forehead and crow’s feet.
#2. I love microneedling. I haven’t done it in a few years, but think for 2024, that is what I will try again. Very little downtime with great results.
Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure using thin needles. The procedure can help reduce the appearance of skin concerns such as acne scars, stretch marks or wrinkles.
If you could only do one treatment for the rest of time, which would it be and why?
“Botox hands down,” says Brooke “I still want to be able to express myself with my face, so CS&L does the perfect amount for me where I can still move but yet the lines are nonexistent. My Botox also lasts me about 5 months, so that is a huge plus!”
How does BOTOX work? BOTOX works at the junction of a nerve ending and muscle by blocking transmission of the signal from the nerve asking the muscle to contract. Thus, BOTOX eliminates or significantly reduces muscle movement locally where it was injected. This relaxation of muscle movement is temporary, with effects lasting about 3 to 4 months. By relaxing or paralyzing the muscles that create facial lines, BOTOX prevents the formation of dynamic or movement-related wrinkles.
What’s on Brooke’s Wish List?
“One thing that is on my wish list is something for my neck – I am not sure what we can do about it yet, so I will be having a consultation soon with Dr. Rostan about it!”
Ready to get started?
Brooke recommends booking a consultation with Dr. Rostan to talk about your goals saying “They will lead you in the right direction and may even give you some ideas for down the road, and what you can do in the meantime to maintain.”
CS&L is special to me because I trust them with my face. I trust them to help me with treatments, but also let me still look like myself. So many women these days have done too much work and they are starting so young.
I love that Dr. Rostan is a true doctor and she takes the time to research new products and procedures. I really appreciate the fact that she is conservative and no one in her office looks ‘too done’. I love everyone that works at CS&L!”
