The 4th Annual Taste of Hope Charlotte gala hosted by the American Cancer Society is September 14th. The ‘foodie’ fundraiser will once again showcase an over-the-top French inspired menu by Celebrity Chef David Burke. The fundraising gala provides an interactive cocktail reception with silent auction, jewelry and wine pulls, raffles and music followed by a three-course sit-down dinner presentation performed by select chefs.

Bella Notte Twentieth Anniversary Opera Carolina

This elegant gala opens each Opera Carolina Season on the beautiful Belk Theater stage, surrounded by an original Opera Carolina theatrical production. The gala features the Grammy®, Stellar, and NAACP Image Award-winning musical ensemble, Sounds of Blackness. This elegant black-tie affair is the culmination of a yearlong celebration of Black joy, genius, and excellence – honoring the Gantt’s founding in 1974. Also at the event, they will be honoring their founders with the Spirit of the Center award for “Community” along with other 2024 Spirit of the Center award winners.
36th Annual Nutcracker Ball Gala

Thirty-six years ago, several Charlotte families were inspired to host an elegant holiday evening to benefit charity organizations near to their hearts. Their mission was to create a fun-filled atmosphere for families, while demonstrating to their children the power of philanthropy. The Nutcracker Ball continues to be a premier event in Charlotte. The Ball will once again be an in-person event at the Charlotte Country Club for children in grades 3 through 6. Proceeds from the 2024 Nutcracker Ball will benefit the work of Baby Bundles.
