Sway and sing along at SouthPark After 5
Just in time for cooler weather, this popular weekly live music series returns to Symphony Park on Thursdays through October 10. Expect lively bands, food trucks, alcoholic beverages for sale, weekly rotating entertainment and more. The opening act will take the stage from 5-6:30pm, with the main act on from 7-9pm. Here’s the full line-up of music and activities:

Outside beverages are not be permitted, but outside food is allowed, so pack a picnic from Reid’s Fine Foods, where you’ll find picnic specials and lots of packable eats and treats.

Savor a Cooking Class with your Sweetie
Work together in the kitchen when you and your special someone sign up for cooking classes at Sur La Table. Their “Date Night” series include classes such as “Restaurant-Style Sushi,” “Date Night: New York Steakhouse,” “A Parisian Evening” and more.
Build Some Healthy Competition at a Trivia Night
Test out your knowledge with a trivia night. SouthPark has two options: On Tuesdays, head to Rhino Market & Deli, plus get a sandwich and pint for $11.50. On Thursdays, Mindless Minutia hosts weekly trivia at Suffolk Punch SouthPark starting at 7 pm.

Workout and Dine-out
SouthPark has plenty of other ways for you to stay in shape and have fun doing it. Opt for a fitness class or wellness service, followed by a healthy dinner out.
Even better, check out the free Fall Fitness Series on the SouthPark Loop. Every Monday this October, get moving on the SouthPark Loop with a free community workout led by local fitness partners from RockBox Fitness, StudioFire Fitness, Tango Charlotte and Hustle House SouthPark. It’s free to attend and the workout lasts from 5:45-6:30pm.

Join a run club
Reid’s Fine Foods hosts a weekly run club every Thursday at 6pm. Meet at the upper deck of the Reid’s SouthPark location for 2, 3, or 4.5 mile runs that are open to all fitness levels.
Runners can also join in with the Legion SouthPark Run Club every Wednesday at 6:30pm. Different routes are available, so whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, you can find something to suit your style.

Art on display
Legion Brewing SouthPark will host an art exhibit as part of the upcoming Charlotte International Arts Festival with “The Journey,” a visual arts exhibition that illustrates the journey that our immigrant and refugee neighbors take to come to the United States. “The Journey” is presented in partnership with International House, a Charlotte-based nonprofit, and will be on show at Legion from September 18-October 18.
Pair art, wine and ice cream
Get a dose of art and culture any time with a stroll through Anne Neilson Fine Art, which is open until 5 pm most days. Then enjoy the art of hand-crafted Italian dining at Mano Bella nearby and after that, enjoy the art of dessert-ing at Golden Cow Creamery 🙂
