Parking during the Holidays. It’s the worst, right? Circling the lot, looking for a spot, getting stuck behind someone waiting for a spot while the current occupant loads in 27 bags and redoes her entire face in the rearview mirror before backing out. It really adds to the festivities.
Meet Skipper, Your New Best Friend
This year, SouthPark has got you girl. They just launched Skipper, a FREE rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) operating only within the SouthPark area. It’s an all-electric fleet of vehicles funded for a one-year trial by the SouthPark Community Partners. And it kicked off in mid-November right in time to make your holidays a bit less stressful. Something we are all thankful for.

How Scoop-Girls Ride Skipper
We’re a strategic bunch. We park where there are a bunch of empty parking spaces in a gigantic lot in the SP neighborhood (DM us if you can’t guess our pick), do our shopping at that location, and then catch a Skipper ride or two to the next stores on our list. Then we go to lunch and then back to the car. Rinse and Repeat, til the gift list is taken care of.
