New & Now Open

Pizzeria Sapienza, Dilworth

A second Charlotte location of Pizzeria Sapienza, a pizzeria specializing in NY-style pizza by the slice, has opened in Dilworth.

Knowledge Perk Coffee, Uptown

Knowledge Perk, a small-batch roastery with multiple locations across the Carolinas, is now open in Latta Arcade with signature blends and baked goods. 

Curry Gate, Matthews

Curry Gate has opened its 4th location in Matthews, featuring their traditional Indian and Nepali cuisine.

BAR ONE Lounge, Uptown

BAR ONE Lounge Uptown is now open with live burlesque and music every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The lounge offers coffee from 8 am to noon, a midday lounge from noon to 4 pm, and dinner and cocktails starting at 5 pm.

Tipsy Pickle, Camp North End

Tipsy Pickle’s 35,000 square-foot space features 6 pickleball courts, 3 bars, a Tex-Mex-inspired menu, and more. Reserve your court, grab your friends, and get tipsy.

Cocktail Lounge at 3rd and Fernwood, Midtown

3rd and Fernwood has opened a Cocktail Lounge with bites and sips for all. The new speakeasy is $40 per guest and includes two cocktails and curated bites. Reservations are required.

Inspired by European neighborhood bakeries, Wheatberry Bakeshop is a small scale bakery located in Charlotte NC. The bakeshop offers a wide array of pastries, weekly menu features, and seasonal items.

Social Cow Truck, Uptown

Social Cow Truck, a family-run business, has opened inside the Market at 7th Street. The Social Cow offers a variety of hand-scooped flavors, including banana pudding, peach, lemon crunch and vanilla.

Let’s Meat KBBQ, South End – March 2025

After a fire last year caused the Korean BBQ restaurant to temporarily close its doors, Let’s Meat will officially reopen this March. You can expect a return of their all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ at 1400 S. Church St., next to Seoul Food Meat Company.

BAM! Snoballs – March 22, 2025

A New Orleans-style snoball shop will take Charlotte by storm this spring, with pop-ups planned at University, NoDa, Uptown, Camp North End and more. The mobile unit will feature snoballs – shaved / soft ice drizzled with simple syrups and other toppings and stuffed with your choice of ice creams or cheesecake (!!). If you’ve ever been to NOLA and joined the line at HANSENS SnoBliz, get ready to fight Susu for first dibs.

Very Much on Our Radar, But Not Quite Open Yet:

Leluia Hall, Dilworth – Coming Very Soon

Coming this month, we hope – our fingers are very crossed, to the former Bonterra spot in Dilworth. Looks like inspections are happening, finishing touches are being done, the menu is being finalized. Keep your eyes peeled for the opening date!

La Lima, South End – Coming Very Soon

La Lima, brought to us by owners of fan faves YUNTA and Viva Chicken, is set to bring Peruvian sandwiches and other international fusion flavors to South End at the end of March – AxiosCLT says March 24th. They’re coming to the former Carrabbas space at 151 Park Ave.

Mazi, South EndComing Very Soon

They’re putting on the finishing touches, announcing their opening date soon. AxiosCLT says end of this month. Mazi’sapproach to food will be “centered around innovative cuisine with Mediterranean-inspired small plates and fine spirits, while also promising an elevated dining experience.”

Reuben Fest 2025

OMB’s Reuben Fest is returning in 2025 for another year of fun, centered around a traditional fan favorite: the Reuben. This year’s fest will feature different variations of Reuben like a Reuben Smash Burger, Pastrami Reuben, and Loaded Reuben Fries (just to name a few) alongside live music and a limited taproom menu.
