Peter Cottontail, jelly beans, Peeps and pastels are all signs that Easter is right around the corner. A mani or a pedi in the candy colored hue or pretty pastel polish will put you in a Spring like state of mind, even if the weather is not cooperating. Everywhere you turn there are creamy pastel pinks, blues, greens and yellows, along with some twists on these shades that are super fun. Â Quicker then you can snag the last Cadbury Cream Egg, the Easter Bunny will be here, so let’s hop to it! Â Don’t forget to click more to see all of the fun options.
I am a big fan of Zoya polishes, they have never disappointed me in the colors, formula or the huge selection of colors that they have. This year Zoya’s Spring 2013 collection is called Lovely and that is exactly what it is! A fun tidbit about the Lovely collection is that Piaf, Julie and Gie Gei, were created for the Zang Toi Spring-Summer 2013 New York fashion week show and Neely and Jacqueline were created for the Peter Som Spring-Summer 2013 New York fashion week show.
First up is Blu, a super creamy baby blue.
Next is Neely, I love this color, it is so soft and pretty with a dusty finish.
The next three colors are typical pastel shades, but they have a shimmery icy finish to make them feel fresh and exciting! Julie is my personal favorite, but all of them are very pretty and easy to wear. You can earn bonus points with your friend for knowing that they were named after Zang Toi’s muses.
I love the speckled jelly beans and the Robin’s Egg chocolates that you can only get at Easter, so the final three polishes are my choice for Easter! Glitter suspended in milky pastel shades make for perfect candy like nails.
Illamasqua Speckle is just one of the colors in the Imperfection collection, isn’t it pretty?
deborah lippmann has a new collection for Spring 2013 called, staccato, which offers three ice cream like polishes.
There you have it Easter candy without the guilt. Â I hope you indulge in one or more of these delicious colors during Easter and enjoy them into Spring. Bottle shots of the polishes can be found in the slideshow below. Â Zoya can be found at Ulta, Illamasqua can be found at Sephora and deborah lippmann can be found at Ulta, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus, they are also all available online. Zoya provided the polishes for review. Till next time, don’t forget you can always head on over to Polish Pauper to see what I am up to!
