When you think of Carrigan Farms in Mooresville, you probably think of their popular fall activities of apple picking, hayrides, and the haunted Scarrigan farms. You probably didn’t know that Carrigan Farms is also home to the Quarry – a natural spring-fed pool framed by dramatic granite walls that rise 70 feet.
In addition to the 25-feet deep natural pool, the Quarry also boasts a white-sand beach (with volleyball court) and a boardwalk, and covered pavilion. You can be as active as you’d like, or just relax on the beach. The Quarry can be rented out for swim parties of 25 people or more, Monday-Thursday. There are day and evening times available, and amenities include lifeguards, catch-and-release fishing, and the option to have a catered meal.
Guests can also add on options such as canoes, kayaks and paddle boards, or some land activities such as rock climbing (gear and attendants included) or a 5-in-1 bounce house. The Quarry is a great location to host a swim party that all ages will love. The staff at Carrigan Farms will handle all of the details so you can relax and enjoy your party.
