Christmas in the Country at Abide-A-While Acres

Talk about a classic Christmas! Abide-A-While Acres is decking their 1850 farmhouse out for the holidays and inviting you to join in the fun. Take family pictures with the perfect festive backdrop, admire the decorations, shop local handmade gifts and enjoy some sweet treats. The experience wouldn’t be complete without a trip outside to the bonfire where you can roast marshmallows and enjoy a warm cup of hot cocoa.

Each Friday, D9 brewing is showing off local and regional talent with their live music series. Enjoy the performance, food trucks and of course, plenty of free flowing brew. This week, food truck Gyro Twins will be on-site starting at 4:00 PM and Nate Randall will take the stage at 7:00 PM.

 

Concord’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

The holidays begin in Concord with the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Music, children’s amusements, horse-drawn wagon rides and trolley rides, and of course Santa Claus! The event is highlighted by a fireworks display.

 

Lake Norman Brew Ha Ha Tour

This time, the tour is leaving from Eastfield Bar & Grill, where you’ll get complimentary appetizers before you head off.  With the help of a luxury motor coach, you’ll explore four unique breweries in one fun-filled day: Ass Clown, Primal, D9 & Bayne Brewing. Taste away with three free beer tastings at each stop. You’ll also walk away with two souvenir pint glasses from Primal and D9 Breweries, and be entered to win door prizes.  ($12.00 value) will be given to everyone.
