Get to Know the stores in scoopcharlotte’s SouthEnd Furniture Crawl on 11/29.

This year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, savvy shoppers in Charlotte will avoid the big box retailers and chain stores = that’s what Cyber Monday is for and the online deals are predicted to be epic this year.

Instead, they’ll hit the local boutiques and shops, around town and in Southend in particular, where the first-ever SOUTHEND FURNITURE CRAWL and ShopMicroLocal pop up events are taking place.

scoopcharlotte’s SOUTHEND FURNITURE CRAWL is on Small Business Saturday,11/29,  and is a day to get to know Charlotte’s Furniture & Design district, stroll the shops and eateries [breweries],  and hit the pop up shops at Triple C Brewery.  Several retail and consignment furniture stores will open their doors with drinks, snacks, sales, deals and treats for us to shop – and you can enter to win a shopping spree when you hit each store, so the more you shop, the better your chances of winning.  There’s even a dedicated Christmas shop, with all the trimmings and a visit from one of the best Santa’s around.

Here’s the scoop on the stores open for this shopping crawl:

Pick your spot & park once.  The Holiday Trolley will be running throughout the day with stops on Camden Road, at Atherton Mill and at the Triple C Brewing Co Pop Up Shops.  So check out the scoop on the stores by area and shop your jingle bells off from one end of Southend to the other. More info on sales, discounts & deals by store next week.
